Liverpool kicked off their 2012/13 pre-season tour with a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC. The Brendan Rodgers regime had a rocky start, with the reds going a goal behind (Amarikwa), before scouse youngster Adam Morgan bagged his first Liverpool goal after great work from Raheem Sterling. In a game that was literally one of two halves (with Rodgers starting to completely different XI's either side of half time), reds fans also welcomed back Lucas Leiva to the side.
